Rob Nelson, PMP
![]() is the President of Project Junkies, a Regina based project management training and consulting firm. Prior to forming Project Junkies in 2007, he spent thirty-one years in the telecommunications industry, the last twelve in project management, leading some of his organization's leading edge, mission critical projects. Rob provided project management guidance and support to the Project Management Division of the 2005 Jeux de Canada Games. The Project Management Institute (PMI) awarded the PMI Community Advancement through Project Management Award to the 2005 Jeux de Canada Summer Games Planning/Project Management Division for the successful implementation of formal project management in planning and organizing the 2005 Summer Canada Games in Regina, Saskatchewan. He has served on PMI Regina/South Saskatchewan's Board of Directors since 1999, including 4 years as President and 3 years as Immediate Past President. Always the project junkie, he currently is an instructor in the University of Regina's Project Management Certificate Program and is a member of PMI's Risk Management Standard Project Team.
